Rip Clothes in a Store

Helen Huang – the 10th grader

Last Saturday afternoon, I went shopping with my friends in a department store. Strolling in the first floor, we saw varieties of new stuff and fancy clothes. All of a sudden, a white, printed cotton T-shirt, which quickly drew my attention, came into my site. I headed over to the store where the T-shirt was displayed, asking the clerk if I could try on. Excited and impatient, I didn't careful enough to notice the fact that the shirt wasn't my size. As a result, I tore the T-shirt accidently when trying on. Had I had not been so careless, I wouldn't have had to pay for my mistake. Much to my surprise, the clerk gave me a discount since I was a student. In spite of this, I was still regretful and depressed for buying a cute but useless clothes.

Had I had not been so careless, I wouldn't have had to pay the price for my carelessness and haste. Much to my surprise, the clerk gave me a discount since I was a student. Even so, I was still regretful and disappointed that I bought the cute but torn clothes.
