Better Time Management (by 11th grader)

Simba Chang – the 11th grader

Why should we have a better time management?  As a human, laziness is one of our instincts.  If we don't have a well-defined schedule, we may usually put off work.  It is difficult for me to manage my time well.  Like most of the students, I am a little addicted to the computer games.  I can't control myself not to play it even though there are lots of homework waiting for me to do.  As a result, I have choice but to do it in the last moment, which was painful and exhausted.  And it ends up unfinished and doesn't meet teachers' and my own expectations.  Finally, I come up with some ways to improve my time management.  First, setting up a practical time such as how much time I should have to play and study and when to do them.  Second, don't spend time playing in relax, if I am not sure I can finish my work on time.  The last but not least, making good use of some intervals like waiting time for the bus to and from school, ten minute break between the classes, and lunch break.  As challenging as it is, I will go all out to improve my time management step by step.

Better Time Management (by 11th grader)

Why do we need to have better time management?  As a human, laziness is one of our instincts.  If we don't have a well-organized schedule, we may usually put off work and, of course, I am no exception.

It was kind of difficult for me to manage my time well.  Like most of the students, I was a little addicted to computer games.  I couldn't control myself not to play them even if there was lots of homework waiting for me to do.  As a result, I had no choice but to do it reluctantly at the last minute, which was painful and exhausted.  And it ended up unfinished and didn't meet teachers' and my own expectations, which was what I didn't want to see.

Finally, I force myself to come up with a plan to improve my time management recently.  First, set up a practical timetable such as how much time to play and study and when to do them.  Second, don't spend too much time on relaxation if I am not sure I can finish my work on time.  The last but not least, make good use of some intervals like waiting time for buses to and from school, ten minute breaks between the classes, and lunch breaks.  As challenging as it is, I will go all out to improve my time management step by step.
