這題的重點是不完全及物動詞[ make ]的用法：

1.  [ make ]可以是完全及物動詞，也可以是不完全及物動詞。而不完全及物動詞[ make ]的常用句型如下：

      a) make + 受詞 + 受詞補語

      - Our country made soldiers brave.

      - Your parents made you a good pianist.

      b) make + it + 受詞補語 + 不定詞片語

      - Mrs. White makes it a rule for her twins to get up at 7:30 a.m. every morning.

      - The high pay can make it comfortable to live in a busy city like Taipei.

     c) make + it + 受詞補語 + that子句

      - The difficulty of the job made it necessary that he should do it with care.

      - We can’t make it real that we can finish our project on time without having more manpower.

2.   乍看之下，空格應該是指[ people ]，但[ people ]的受格可以是[ us ]與[ them ]。而[ us ]與[ them ]都是選項之一，所以不可能是答案。它正確的句型是[ make + it + 受詞補語 + 不定詞片語 ]。
