New Semester’s Resolutions (by 11th grader)
Simba Chang – the 11th grader
New semester means a new start. I have wasted three semesters on enjoyment and entertainment. It is time for me to pay attention to my academic performance. I hope I can find my goal in my life and fulfill it in order not to spend time in vain.
I have four resolutions. First, get on bed before eleven o’clock, so I won’t feel fatigued in the coming day. Second, keep regular exercise. Third, spend some of my leisure on studying. Last but not least, place importance on tests and homework. I think I should prepare for the tests and hand in my homework on time. I won’t make progress if I always procrastinate.
To say is much easier than to do. In the last few weeks, I still find some difficulties like sometimes I am indulged in computer games. But I will persevere in them and overcome these difficulties step by step.

A new semester means a new start. I have wasted three semesters finding full enjoyment and entertainment. It is time for me to pay attention to my academic performance. In order not to spend my time in vain and trivial things, I hope I can find my goal in my life and fulfill it
I have four resolutions this new semester. First, get on the bed before eleven o’clock, so I won’t feel fatigued in the coming day. Second, keep regular exercise. Third, spend some of my leisure on studying. Last but not least, put emphasis on tests and homework. I think I should prepare for the tests and hand in my homework on time. If always finding excuses to put off doing things which I account for, I won’t make progress
To say is much easier than to do. During the first few weeks, I still have difficulty carrying them out because I am still indulged in computer games sometimes. But I will persevere in my attempts to get rid of my bad habits instead of breaking my resolutions.
