Holiday Traffic Jam Everywhere (by 10^th grader)

Ting Lee – the 10^th grader

In a sunny day Dad decided to go picnic with us.  He asked Mom to prepare some sandwiches and some drinks.  After everything was prepared, we put them on the car and ready to go.  It was all smoothly at first.  However, when we were on the highway, there was a serious traffic accident in the front.  Since that, it became a traffic jam and made us couldn’t move even one meter.  Ten minutes later, there came two polices and helped with the serious traffic jam.  Finally, we arrived at the destination.  To my surprised, there was full of people and we couldn’t even approach one step.  Wanting to know what was happened, Dad put me on his shoulders to see farther.  As I can see, there was a famous singer having a fan meeting event at this place, so all of his fans came here to join it.  Because we were not the fans and didn’t like the noisy place, Mom decided to go to a restaurant for lunch and came home.  Finally, I finished the tired day with napping on the car.

On a sunny day, after an early breakfast, Dad decided to go on a picnic, and asked Mom to prepare some sandwiches and drinks.  The moment all the stuff was prepared, we put them in the trunk.  We hit the road at about 8:30 a.m. 

It seemed everything was fine at first.  However, when we were on the highway, we realized there was a car accident ahead about two kilometers away.  Before long, it became a serious traffic jam and made us not move a meter farther.  About half an hour later, there came two policemen arriving at the scene to deal with the car accident. 

Finally, we got to the destination at about 12:15.  To our surprise, there was full of people and we couldn’t find a place to park the car.  In order to know what happened, Dad put me on his shoulders to see as far as I could.  There was a famous singer having a fan gathering event at this place, which attracted all of his fans to come and join it.  Because we were neither his fans nor fanciers of a noisy place, Mom decided to go to a nearby restaurant for lunch, and then went home.  As I napped in the car, the tiring trip was going to come to an end.  It was about 5:00 p.m. when we were home.
