Dear Dad and Mom,

I am writing to express my gratitude to you for your care.  I know that making money is a difficult thing.  I also know that bringing a child up is a much more difficult task.  So I am very grateful to both of you for what you have done for me.  You have not only raised me up but spend lots of money on me in order to let me get educated well.

I remember when I was little, I was a bit feeble.  I often got stomachache and vomited at midnight.  You would drive me to the hospital at once although you were tired out.

If you hadn’t taken care of me so attentively, I would not be so healthy now.  Finally, I want to say “thank you very much” to you for effort, time, and money you have spent because of me.
