A Hotter Summer Is Coming (by 12^th grader)

While getting out of the room, we can obviously feel the temperature getting hotter and hotter, which makes us go back to the room to turn on the air conditioners, and keep pushing the button to lower the temperature.  The above is what most of the people do in the summer, and it is the reason why the summer will get hotter.

After WWII, the world economy has been developing at a fast pace, which has produced and released a lot of greenhouse gases over years, such as carbon dioxide and methane, and the overusage of the air conditioner also has made the condition worse.  Most of the people only care about the benefit that they can get instantly, neglecting the bigger and more serious harm caused.  We must do something to prevent the earth from being damaged by humans.

What we can do is to save energy at home and office, even in a public place.  For example, to turn off the air-conditioner while the temperature is under 28^oC, or just keep the door closed when turning on the air-conditioner.  Also, we can go outside by bus or on foot, instead of driving.  Having those companies stop releasing the greenhouse gases is what government should do.  All those add up, the impact will be huge.  It will end up lowing the global warming, and we can protect our lovely planet - Earth.

While get outside the house, we can obviously feel the temperature hotter and hotter, which makes us get inside the house immediately to turn on the air conditioners and keep pushing the button to lower the temperature.  This is what most of the people will do in the summer, and it is, in part, the reason why the summer will get hotter than before.

After WWII, the world economy has developed at a fast pace, which has produced and released a lot of greenhouse gases over decades, such as carbon dioxide and methane, and the over-usage of the air conditioner also has contributed to the part of the worse condition.  A lot of people only care about and enjoy the benefit that they can get, neglecting the bigger and more severe harm caused.  We must do something to prevent the earth from being damaged by humans.

What we can do is to save energy at home and office, even in a public place.  For example, turn off the air-conditioner the moment the temperature is under 28 degrees Celsius, or just keep the door properly closed when turning on the air-conditioner.  Also, we can go outside by bus or on foot, instead of driving.  We still can do more to save the earth while having those companies stop releasing the greenhouse gases is what our government should do.  With all those adding up, the impact will be huge.  It will be sure to lower the global warming, and we can protect our lovely planet from being deteriorated.
