025  形容詞比較級 + than    副詞比較級 + than

句型A：   主詞1 + 動詞1 + 形容詞比較級 + than + 主詞2 + 動詞2 …

句型B：    主詞1 + 動詞1 + 副詞比較級 + than + 主詞2 + 動詞2 …

注意：  若要修飾”形容詞與副詞比較級”，須使用下列副詞 –

              much, a lot, a bit, a little, a little bit, a great deal, a touch, slightly,

              somewhat, far, even, way, rather, quite, still, yet, less

              less是否定的比較

1.  在冬天，台灣比日本溫暖。  

2. Wallace比Nick大很多(年紀大)。

3.  Wallace比Nick大五歲。

4. Bill比Maurice聰明。

5.  國文考試比數學考試困難。

6.  期末考比期中困難許多。  (the final exam, the midterm exam)

7.  Ted比你不負責。

8.  前學期的期末考較這一學期的不難。  (previous semester)

9.  這一次老闆交代的工作比上一次的還不好處理。  ()

              less是否定的比較

1.  在冬天，台灣比日本溫暖。  

     In winter, Taiwan is warmer than Japan.

2. Wallace比Nick大很多(年紀大)。

     Wallace is much older than Nick.

3.  Wallace比Nick大五歲。

     Wallace is older than Nick by 5 years.  Wallace is five years older than Nick.

4. Bill比Maurice聰明。

     Bill is smarter than Maurice. 

5.  國文考試比數學考試困難。

     Chinese exam is more difficult than math exam.

     = Chinese exam is harder than math exam.

6.  期末考比期中困難許多。  (the final exam, the midterm exam)

     The final exam is much more difficult than the midterm exam.

     = The final is much harder than the midterm.

7.  Ted比你不負責。

     Ted is less responsible than you.

8.  前學期的期末考較這一學期的不難。  (previous semester)

     The final exam in the previous semester is less difficult than the final exam in this semester.

     = The final exam in the previous semester is less difficult than that in this semester.

9.  這一次老闆交代的工作比上一次的還不好處理。 

     The assignment from our manager is much more difficult to deal with this time than that from him last time.
