The Most Unforgettable Thing

Kevin Huang – the eleventh grader

This is the most unforgettable thing that makes me blue. When I was in the ninth grade, I felt stomachache during the math midterm because of the un-fresh sardine. The day before the midterm, my mom buy some sardine for dinner, I ate them with satisfaction and studied hard after dinner. The next morning, that is the first day of the midterm, I thought everything would be fine, but unfortunately, I got stomachache during the morning break, I wanted to go to the toilet, but the exam was started, so I went back to the classroom with pain. The first subject was math which I good at it, I bear the pain, answering the question, but it was too painful to answer them. Finally, the forty-five minute exam was over, I rushed into the toilet to release the pain. After that I thought caused this situation was the un-fresh sardine, if I hadn’t eaten them, I would do well in this exam.

In my ninth grade year, one day before the midterm, my mom bought some sardines for dinner. That night I ate them with satisfaction, which made me study harder after the meal. Before the midnight, in order to have enough sleep to take the exam, I was told to go to bed early   The next morning, I thought everything would be fine and I would do well on this midterm. Unfortunately, I felt something wrong with my stomachache after my arrival at the school. But the exam was about to start, I had no choice but to walk into the classroom to take the math exam which I was good at. I answered the questions, trying not to think about the pain, and bearing it to an extreme. Nevertheless, I was too painful to answer all of them. The moment the forty-five minute exam was over, I rushed into the toilet to relieve myself. After that, I thought it was because of the stale sardines. If I hadn’t eaten them, I would have done well on the exam. Until now, I still remember every minute ticked away on that math exam. This is the most unforgettable thing that I have ever done.
