There + (助動詞) be 的用法

1.  句型 [ There + be … ]表示有人或事的存在

1)   There are two books on the desk.

2)  There is an old man living in that temple.

3)  There was a tall building ten years ago.

4)  There has a big cake on the table.  ( X )

5)  There is has a big cake on the table.  ( X )

2.  句型 [ There + will be … ]表示將會有人或事的存在

1)    There will be no milk tomorrow.

2)   There will be no money in my bank account.

3)  There will be a speech delivered by a professor next Monday.

4)  There will have a basketball game tomorrow.  ( X )

3.  句型 [ There + is going to be … ] 表示將會有人或事的存在

      = [ There + will be … ]

1)   There is going to be a shortage due to the typhoon.

2)  There is going to be a basketball game tonight.

3)  There is going to have a basketball game tonight.  ( X )

4.  句型 [ There + used to be … ]表示過去曾經有人或事的存在

1)   There used to be a tall building at the town center.

      = There was a tall building at the town center.

5.  句型 [ There + is going to have to be … ]表示將一定會或發生什麼事

1)   There is going to have to be a talent show next week.

6.  句型 [ There + has/have to be … ]表示必定有人或事的存在

1)   There has to be a math quiz.

注意：

1) 還可以使用以下句型：

      There (should/might/could/can/shall/may) be a test today.

2) 以上表示人或東西的存在，它的是句型 -

      There + ... + be動詞 + (人或東西) + ...
