New Year’s Resolutions (by 12^th grader)

With the approach of the New Year, the days left in this year are getting fewer and fewer.  There are several plans I have determined to fulfill in the coming year, with the most significant and despering one, going on a trip in Taiwan on my own, ranking on the first place of the list.

Being not a relaxing vacation but an educational and meaningful experience for me, traveling around the island myself is anything but a easy task.  For instance, it requires me to look up for all the informations before I make up a plan, including finding accommodations and transport ways.  Even though I will have got everything prepared, unpredictable conditions are still likely to occur, which will force me to figure out solutions independently to the accidents.  Challenging as the trip seems, I will certainly learn a lot afterwards, not to mention broaden my horizon and be more independent.
