A Dream (by 12^th grader)

Last year, I joined in a meaningful activity, so I went to a tribe for helping everyone who lived there. A woman in this tribe whose dreams is developing this tribe and letting children have great education inspires me. She says, “Instead of going abroad and help people who are less relative with us, it’s more important for us to know people who live the same island with us. After this activity, I have a dream which needs many people efforts to come true. What we should do is donate and help them to sell their crops, so they can make money by themselves. It’s not a hard thing but also not an easy thing, because it takes time and money. I will have loved and supported this tribe, and even other tribes in Taiwan until most of tribers can earn as much money as we in city. That’s a dream, and my dream madding this dream become all Taiwanese dream.

Last year, I spent so much time taking part in a meaningful activity that I went to a native tribe to help their people. During my stay in the tribe, I met a tribal woman whose dream was to develop her tribe, by having themselves get educated and trained, to manage and run their own business now and in the future.

It really inspired me. She said, “Instead of going abroad for her further study, I want to help people including other tribes who live on the same island with us.” After this activity, I have a dream which needs many people’s efforts to make it happen. What we should do is donate something and help them to sell their crops successfully. Then they can follow the practical and workable pattern to make money by themselves.

It’s not only a hard thing but also an elaborate task which will take time and cost money. I will keep on supporting this tribe as well as other tribes in Taiwan until most of them can earn as much money as we do in cities. This is my dream, and if possible I want to make it become the dream of Taiwan.
