Forgot to Turn off the Faucet

Yo Yo Ke – the 11^th grader

One day morning, Phil got a call from his executive when he was sleeping. He got up in shocked because the manager said that they would have temporary meeting an hour later. Phil dressed himself and left home to company as quickly as possible. During the meeting, he felt a sense of occasion what he didn't do at home. It confused him all the conference. After the meeting finished, Phil got home with tired body. As soon as he opened the door, the water leaked out quickly. Suddenly he recalled he didn't turn off the faucet. But he was so exhausted from the day's labours that he went straight to bed.

One morning, Phil received a call from his manager when he was sleeping. He got up unwillingly because the manager said that he would like to have an urgent meeting an hour later. Phil dressed himself hastily and left for the company as quickly as possible. During the meeting, he always felt he forgot to do something at home, which confused him all the time. After the whole day's work, Phil went home with his tired body. The moment he opened the door, lots of water came out. When he walked into his living room which was full of water, he was frozen with shock. He was very surprised to know what he forgot to do was that he didn't turn off the faucet in the morning. It ended up taking him almost three hours to drain the water from his house. He was so exhausted that he went straight to bed without taking a bath.
