以現在或過去為基準點時，下列副詞都是指那個基準點的未來 -

[ some day ]  [ some other day ]  [ some day or other ]  [ one day ]

[ someday ]  [ another day ]

[ some day = one day ]  adv  [未來某一天]  未指定但特定的日期

We will meet again some day.  後會有期  [總有一天]

Humans are mortal, so we shall die some day.

Some day I’m sure to become famous.

Some day we will suffer for the mistake we made today.

[ some other day ] 

I'll meet you some other day.   [改天]

The meeting will be held some other day.  會議將改期  [改天]

[ some day or other ]  [ some time or other ] 

She’ll realize it some day or other.  [總有一天]  [遲早]

He hopes to go abroad some day or other.

[ one day = some day ]

One day you’ll be sorry for what you have said and done.   [有一天]
