基礎文法 – 第6講  第三人稱單數動詞

第一、第二人稱與複數名詞使用動詞的現在式時，就是動詞原形的方式呈現(例句12 ~ 16)。但假如是第三人稱與單數名詞使用動詞的現在式時，動詞呈現的方式如下：

1.   結尾是o, s, x, z, ch, sh： 動詞 + es      

      do, go, kiss, miss, pass, fix, fax, buzz, watch, switch, march, teach, stretch, fish, push, wish, finish, wash, rush, …

2.  [ 子音 + y ]： [ i + es ]

      cry, try, fly, reply, copy, study, hurry, worry, carry, satisfy, …

3.  [ is ], [ has ], [ does ]

4.  [ 其餘動詞 + s ]

例句：

1)   He passes the math test.

2)  Jill watches TV.

3)  Kelly goes to school on foot.

4)  Perry tries to send me an e-mail.

5)  The old woman carries a heavy box.

6)  My sister studies very hard every day.

7)  She is Jill’s mother.

8)  Our teacher has a fancy car.

9)  He doesn’t like to play the violin.

10)   Victor speaks English very well.

11)    Uncle John wants to a cup of hot tea.

12)    My parents have silver hair.

13)    You need to give Lucy a call.

14)    Both my brother and I like to go swimming in summer.

15)    I try very hard to open the canned food.  But it doesn’t work.

16)    They drive their car to Nanjing to see their friends.
