An Outing

Angel Wang – the twelfth grader

It’s a lovely Mid-Autumn Festival. Happy and excited, my family and I went to Kenting to enjoy the wind, sea, sun, beach and sand. After having a pleasant time playing at the beach, it’s time for supper. We put up a fire, taking out beverages we bought, and barbecuing some meat. While we happily eating our delicious dinner, the sky was gradually filled with beautiful gray clouds. Not until the heavy rain poured down did we notice the sudden change of the weather. Wet and annoyed, we quickly cleaned up everything and put them into our car. Not knowing what to do, Dad couldn’t help deciding to drive us home and then let Mom prepare some food to fill up our hungry stomach. What a special and unforgettable outing!

We made a fire, taking out beverages we bought, and barbecuing some meat.   We happily eating our delicious dinner, the sky was gradually filled with beautiful fleecy clouds. Not until the heavy rain poured down did we notice the sudden change of the weather. Wet and annoyed, we quickly cleaned up everything and put them into our car. Not knowing what to do there, Dad couldn’t help driving us home and then asked Mom to prepare some food to fill up our hungry stomachs. What a special and unforgettable outing!
