The Moon Festival

Simba Chang – the eighth grader

This Moon Festival, we went to a big restaurant which is called Yungshao (元燒) to celebrate. This restaurant was famous for it’s grill meat. When we went in, we were very excited because we saw the beautiful decoration. Then we ordered some juice, grill meat, soup, rice and snacks. One minute later, a waiter came taught us how to roast the meat. I was not good at roasting meat, so I only roasted eight pieces of meat. My mom and dad were good at roasting meat. They roasted a lot of meat for me. I am grateful to them. Finally, we drank some juice and ate snacks together. We all had a good moon festival.

This Moon Festival, my parents and I went to a big restaurant (which is) called Yungshao (元燒) to celebrate. This restaurant was famous for its grilled meat. When we went inside, we were very excited because we saw the beautiful decoration. Then we ordered some juice, meat, vegetable, soup, rice and snacks. A moment later, a waiter came and told us how to grill the meat. I was not good at it, so I had only eight pieces of meat grilled. However, my mom and dad did it well and roasted a lot (of meat) for me. I was grateful to them. Finally, we drank some juice and ate snacks together. We all really had a good moon festival this year.
