附和句 - 對他人的說詞意見一致時，你要如何應對？
網友寫email問到，在回答別人的問題，怎樣使用too與either？我增訂之前的講義如下：
文法 – 對他人的說詞意見一致與否
對他人的說詞，你的意見一致
1) A: I am going to take a vacation.
B: So am I. (I will go with my parents.)
2) A : I was in Taipei yesterday.
B : So was I. (Lilian and I went shopping in Taipei yesterday
afternoon.)
3) A : I like to have some ice cream.
B : So do I.
4) A : I went to see a movie.
B : So did I.
5) A : I have lived in Taipei for 15 years.
B : So have I.
6) A : I am not going to take a vacation this summer.
B : Neither am I.
(B : Nor am I.)
7) A : I wasn’t a fat boy when I was a child.
B : Neither was I.
(B : Nor was I.)
8) A : I don’t like to go swimming in winter.
B : Neither do I.
(B : Nor do I.)
9) A : I couldn’t give her money.
B : Neither could I.
(B : Nor could I.)
10) A : I have never been to the U.S.
B: I haven’t, either. (I have never, either. X )
B : Neither have I.
(B : Nor have I.)
B: Never have I.
11) A : I won’t go shopping with May.
B : Neither will I.
(B : Nor will I.)
12) A : Teachers must be fair to all children.
B : So must parents.
13) A : Teachers must be fair to all students.
B : So must parents to their children.
14) A: I can swim.
B: I can swim, too.
B: I can, too. (Me, too.)
B: So can I
B: I can also swim. (It also can be done by me.)
15) A: I can’t swim.
B: I can’t swim, either.
B: I can’t, either. (Not me, either. 罕用)
B: Neither can I. (Me, neither.)
B: I also can’t swim.
16) A: I’m going to take a vacation.
B: I am, too.
B: So am I.
17) A: My car is broken.
B: Mine is, too.
B: So is mine.
B: Mine isn’t. (意見不同)
18) A: I am thirsty.
B: I am, too.
B: So am I.
19) A: I am not hungry.
B: I am not, either.
B: Neither am I.
(B: Nor am I.)
20) A: I seldom went for a walk.
B: I didn’t, either.
B: Neither did I.
(B: Nor did I.)
21) A: I had better leave now.
B: I do, too.

注意： 1) 在原句中若有助動詞，在意見一致而使用too(or either)時，要用下列句型:
主詞 + 助動詞(肯定), too.
主詞 + 助動詞(否定), either.
主詞 + be動詞(肯定), too.
主詞 + be動詞(否定), either.
2) 在原句中只有一般動詞，在意見一致而使用too(or either)時，要用下列
句型:
主詞 + do / did, too.
主詞 + don’t / didn’t(否定), either.
3) 在原句中若有助動詞(或be動詞)，在意見一致而使用So與Neither (or
Nor) 時，要用下列句型:
So + 助動詞(或be動詞) + 主詞 …
Neither / Nor + 助動詞(或be動詞) + 主詞 …
4) 在原句中只有一般動詞，在意見一致而使用So與Neither (or Nor)時，要
用下列句型:
So + do / did + 主詞 …
Neither / Nor + do / did + 主詞 …
5) 使用到否定詞類(never, seldom, hardly, barely, rarely, nothing等)
時，附和句要用否定句型。
對他人的說詞，你的意見不一致
1) A: I am going to take a vacation.
B: Really? I am not. (I will stay in Taiwan this summer.)
2) A : I was in Taipei yesterday.
B : Oh, I wasn’t. (I went to Brad’s home yesterday.)
3) A : I like to have some ice cream.
B : Really? I don’t.
4) A : I went to see a movie.
B : I didn’t.
5) A : I have lived in Taipei for 15 years.
B : Well, I haven’t.
6) A : I am not going to take a vacation this summer.
B : Really? I am.
7) A : I wasn’t a fat boy when I was a child.
B : Well, I was.
8) A : I don’t like to go swimming in winter.
B : Oh, I do.
9) A : I couldn’t give her money.
B : Well, I could.
10) A : I have never been to the U.S.
