Honesty Is the Best Policy

My parents always tell me that honesty is the best policy.  Being honest is important because once you tell a lie, you will get used to it.  For example, if a person just told a lie, he will tell more lies to cover it up.  In the course of time, no one will trust him.  On the contrary, a man who is always frank and never cheat or lie can be depended on by people.  In addition, nobody wants to make friends with a person who always lies.  Therefore, honesty is the best policy.

My parents oftentimes tell me honesty is the best policy.  Being honest is very important because once you tell a lie, you will get used to telling another one.  For example, if a person likes to a lie, he will tell more lies to cover it up.  In the course of time, no one will trust and make friends with him.  On the contrary, a person who is always frank and never cheats or lies can be depended on by people.  He must be a trustworthy person.  Moreover, he feels at ease and lives a live without lies and cheats.
