Having an Accident While Going Biking

Tammy Lai – the 9^th grader

After a rainy morning, it cleared up in the afternoon. Ben decided to ride a bike along the riverbank. He rode on the bike, listening to MP3 player and whistling to the melodies. Just when he was turn right, he saw a little girl riding a small bike changing the lane. Due to her popping up, he turned a bit right at once to avoid hitting her. He let out a yell, “Oh no!” Unfortunately, he bumped into the bench beside the path and passed out. When he regained consciousness, he was lying in the bed of a hospital with arms and legs bandaged. After a few days, the girl’s parents came to apologize to him. To Ben, the accident was a terrible experience which made him lie in the bed without going out with friends. He hoped it wouldn’t happen again.

Just when he was about to turn right, he saw a little girl riding a small bike changing the lane. Due to her popping up, he turned a bit right at once to avoid hitting her without applying the brake. At the same time, he let out a yell, “Oh no!” Unfortunately, he bumped into the bench beside the path violently and passed out. When he regained consciousness, he was lying in the bed of a hospital with arms and legs bandaged. After a few days, the girl’s parents came to apologize to him. To Ben, the accident was a terrible experience which made him lie in the bed without hanging out with friends. He hoped it wouldn’t happen again.
