Forgot to Turn off the Faucet
Melody – the 10th grader
It was fifteen to nine. Phil had a meeting at nine, so he hurried to his company, but he forgot to turn off the faucet. During the meeting, he thought he forgot something to do, but he just couldn’t figure it out. He didn’t knew what it was until he went back home. When he opened the door, water pour out. He couldn’t believe what he saw and how he could leave the faucet on before he go out. As the saying goes, “You’ve made your bed, now lie in it.” Though he was very tired, he still need to clean the mess because of his carelessness. After a few hours, lying in bed, he thought, “Today relly isn’t my day.”

Forgot to Turn off the Faucet
Melody – the 10th grader
It was fifteen to nine when Phil got up. Remembered there was an important meeting at nine, he hurried to the office, forgetting that he had to turn off the faucet.
In the following two hours, he couldn’t concentrate on what other people discussed about in the meeting. Instead, he kept thinking there was something he forgot to do. But he just couldn’t figure it out.
Not until he went back home did he know what it was. That was, he forgot to turn off the faucet before leaving for the company this morning. The moment he opened the door, water pour out. He couldn’t believe what he saw. In the living room, the bottom of every piece of furniture was soaked in the water. As he made his bed, so he must lie on it. Very upset and tired though Phil was, he still needed to clean up the mess because of his carelessness. After he finished cleaning, he lay in the bed thinking out loud, “Today really isn’t my day.”
