Vicky Went Shopping (by 11th grader)

Doris – the 11th grader

One day, Vicky found that there was a shortage of daily supplies.  Therefore, she decided to go to a nearby supermarket to buy some.  Arriving the destination, she saw many products on sale, which made her decide to buy more.

In the supermarket, she looked around and noticed that shoppers could sample some food at several places.  After tasting a few, she found the flavor of a kind of snack was wonderful and put to pick four boxes of it into basket.

Later, when she went to the checkout counter, she found that she didn’t bring enough money with her.  She did her best to find any extra money that might be left in her purse, but she couldn’t.

Fortunately, a young man behind her gave her a immediate help.  He helped her to pay what she was short of and took the things to trunk of her car.  Before Vicky drove and left the parking lot, she asked for the phone number of the man who helped her and promise to pay back the money.  On the way to home, she determined that she will bring enough money with her next time and thought the thing that happened today was an embarrassing incident she had ever experienced.
