Having an Accident While Going Biking

Hunter Wang – the 10^th grader

The weather today was so good that I decided to go biking.  After putting on my MP3 player, I rode my bike whistling along the park.  I rode on the path and I saw a girl in front of me, so I wanted to pass her.  Suddenly the girl changed her lane.  I braked my bike right away to avoid the accident when I saw her popping up.  But I still couldn’t stop my bike immediately, and hit a bench beside the path.  Unfortunately I hurt my leg.  Someone walking in the park called the ambulance and I was rushed to the hospital.  After the accident, I paid a lot of attention while riding the bike.

The weather was so good that I decided to go biking last Tuesday.  After putting on my helmet and MP3 player, I rode my bike whistling along the newly-paved path surrounding the park.  A few minutes later, I saw a girl on another lane cycling beside me.  In a blink of an eye, the girl caught up with me and changed her lane without any signal.  I braked my bike right away to avoid the accident when I saw her pop up.  Unable to stop my bike immediately, I hit a bench beside the path.  Unfortunately I hurt my leg.  Someone walking in the park called the ambulance and I was rushed to the hospital.  After the accident, I paid a lot of attention while riding the bike.
