A Doughnut Store

Hunter Wang – the 10^th grader

After the class, Nick was on the way home. He walked on the street. Suddenly, he found a new store of selling doughnuts, and went to the store to buy some. The store had many people that lined up in front of it Nick was thinking what the doughnut tasted like, and lined up in front of the store. After waiting for twenty minutes, finally, just one customer in front of him. But something bad happen, the customer who in front of him bought all last doughnuts. Nick felt very sad when he ready to go out the store. The customer saw Nick be sad, so the customer gave Nick two doughnuts. Nick felt happy and went home.

To his astonishment, there were many people lining up in front of it. Nick imagined what the doughnut tasted like, and stood in the line as well. After waiting for twenty minutes, an unhappy thing happened. A lady in front of him bought all the doughnuts left at the store. Nick had no choice but to go out of the store disappointed. In order to comfort Nick, the lady gave him two doughnut for free. Nick rejoiced to receive the surprising gift from her and went home happily.
