At an Amusement Park

Helen Huang – the 10th grader

Mary stared at Jack, her boyfriend, guiltily. He keeps throwing up, with his face turning green. She knows that it was all her faults, even though Jack doesn't blame her. Had she not forced him to play roller coaster, he wouldn't be so uncomfortable now. However, little did she know that consequence will be so serious. At first, they just play some simple installations, such as merry-go-round and Ferris wheel. It was great, but it isn't enough for Mary. She started begging Jack to take a ride on roller coaster, which is known for its high speed and terrifying crooked roads. Being excited when Jack finally accepted her request, Mary didn't conscious of the fear on his face as well as the frightened face. Now, all she can do is keep apologizing to him and ask for his forgiveness.

Satisfied and excited when Jack was reluctant to give his consent to her request, Mary wasn't conscious of the fear on his face.
