A Day without Cellphones (by 12th grader)

Hunter Wang – the 12th grader

There are more than seventy percent of the students doing exercise less than three times a week after school.  Most of students will go home or go to cram schools directly, so they don't have time to exercise.  Just like me, I have college entrance exam after four months, so I need to spend my time studying harder.  But there are still twenty seven percent doing physical exercise three times or even more a week after school.

According to statistic data on the pie chart, a lot of many students don't do so much exercise that they will became poor in their physical condition.  The experts say if you don't exercise often, you won't have enough energy to study.  So I think the school can have some sports clubs for students to play after school, like the similar activities done by schools in Japan.  In Japan, there are many clubs after school, such as basketball, baseball, soccer ball club, and so on.  The more we exercise, the more energy we will have to do better in our school study.  So instead of going back home sitting in front of the desk, do some physical or outdoor activities with friends when you don't have classes in the afternoon or evening, and you will be an energetic person who is stronger, healthier, and smarter.

According to statistic data on the pie chart, a lot of students don't do so much exercise that they will become poor in their physical condition.  The experts say if we don't exercise often, we won't have enough energy to study.  Thus, I think the school can have some after-school sports clubs for students to join, like the similar activities done by schools in Japan.  In Japan, there are many clubs after school, such as basketball, baseball, soccer ball club, and so on.  The more we exercise, the more energy we will have to do better in our academic studies.  So, instead of going to cram schools or back home sitting in front of the desk, play sports with friends when we don't have classes in the afternoon or evening, and we will end up an energetic person who is stronger, healthier, and smarter.
